Today we finally got to stop painting! We finished it yesterday so today we laid down the floors. It was actually pretty fun once I got the hang of it. The owner of the house (let's call him L because that's his initial) helped us most of the day and he obviously had experience in what we were doing. So that was very helpful. His buddy also stopped by to give us helpful direction and tell us when we were doing it wrong. He was a character. Overall it was a good day.
I am still glad to have people staying here with me now, and there's a new member of the group, a guy working for Habitat for Humanity. The downside of all the people though is that there is a lot of talking going on. I am totally pooped at the end of the day and just want to read and check email and be quiet but that is not really an option unless I shut myself in my room which is what I have done now. The three ladies should all be named Cathy (as in Chatty and not as in Kathi) and the man too though he had some interesting stories. One talks on the phone every night for at least and hour and the other talks to...me. Hopefully they don't read this blog. I really do like them but I am just not the most talkative person on planet earth.
